Today was a fantastic day. We left the stinking state of Idaho and made our way to beautiful Oregon. The rivers and mountains just took my breath away. I am officially in love with the Pacific Northwest.
In Oregon we stopped by Multinomah Falls, THE waterfall with the bridge from Twilight and ate in the lodge. I took a picture of the urinals because I am certain the sparkle peen was there at one point.
We accidentally found the bridge Charlie drives across in the movie and the Power Plant. Before finding that we pulled over next to the river and the GPS (now named Betsy) had a meltdown - "re-calculating, re-calculating, re-calculating". Half of our group got stopped on the interestate when a Life Flight helicopter had to land in the road after an accident.
Pocket Edward is a hit and is getting lots of attention from the ladies on the trip and people who see us out.
Tomorrow is the tour of Forks. Tonight I snuggle into my bed at The Cullen House and relish in the fact that I drove nearly coast to coast for this Book Tour.
We have deemed ourselves the Forks Dorks.
