Richard Roeper: 'Eclipse' is 'one of the most astonishing upgrades in movie franchise history'

Critical reviews of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse have been quite scattered, but as we've seen, there are a lot more major sources giving Eclipse the thumbs up than there were with either Twilight or The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

One reviewer in particular, Richard Roeper, has said a mouthful about Eclipse by stating, "I have to say, this represents one of the most astonishing upgrades in movie franchise history."

Roeper, who wasn't impressed by either of the first two films and walked into Eclipse with admittedly low expectations, came to the ultimate conclusion that "this is one of the better movies of the year. It's really well done, well directed, well acted, great camera work, a terrific soundtrack. I give Eclipse an A-."
