Bravo.de got the chance to interview Kellan when he was in germany!

Monique wanted to know: Which scene was the hardest one for you?

Kellan: The hardest scene was the one I’m falling into the water. You’re trying, to act like a vampire, but vampires don’t breath, they don’t hyperventilate, they’re already cold as ice. So you’re not allowed to look like you’re cold. And this river was extremely cold! And I was wet all over, and it was raining and I was gasping, and David Slade said: “Act like you’re angry at the wolf.” So I did that, but it was really hard, continue to play the vampire, if you’re not allowed to show human feelings.

Dany wanted to know: Was there a scene you had to repeat often?

Kellan: It’s difficult to shoot an epic fight, as it was with the battle scene at the end of the movie. This was a huge thing and we, the Cullens, are all in and are fighting together with the werewolves, what makes the whole thing harder, too, because you’re not really fighting with the werewolves, but with those cardboard figures. It was really hard; we had six weeks fight-training, so that we don’t blow it up, when we’re shooting the scene in the end. Many people are fighting there at the same time, about 30, so everything has to fit. You mustn’t blow it up, because then we have to shoot it again.
