*You know about biting. Where does a vampire usually bite a girl, then?


K: Usually, in that area. but it isn't that important. we can bite at the body everywhere and the transformation starts.

* But you're vegetarian, aren't you?

K: Mostly. Mostly. of course, my role would like to break the rules but we're vegan vampires which means we don't rush at people but I like to fight with bears because we bite animals and I play with the bears and then eat them of course which is nice.

*We've just seen this action scene which is so cool. All this, ist this real? Cause this is crazily difficult.

K: David Slade is our director and he didn't want to make a film where you have to let the camera go faster so that it looks somehow as if we would run quite fast. And what he did is a new way to think up of technology. if we run 10 miles/h, a truck drags us which drives 30 miles per hour and then, of course, it looks as if we would run 40 miles per hour. And this between the trees. This looks fantastic.

*You have just mentioned him. the director is primarily proud of you because you do all action scenes yourself. Isn't this extremely dangerous?

K: It is. it is at the Twilight films. I love action scenes generally. It's really fantastic for me that I can do this and I wanted to show that I can.

*I've also heard you do less dangerous sports. You do yoga.?

K: Yes. I show it to you at once. This is very important. I never had enough time to do this correctly but of course yoga is good. you can have massages. Of course you have to must look, that one keeps you fit. A whole temporal approach of the physical fitness. and I raise very heavy weights. it is very important because of this that I remain flexible.

*wow, obviously one can see that you exercise much. What was actually there first? The model or the vampire?

K: well .. eh..no. I've always been a vampire.

*But weren't you afraid of vampires as a child were earlier too? They looked quite terrible then.

K: I've always loved them. Already as a little boy, I had quite many brothers who hit me together. so I was more afraid of my brothers than of vampires. Vampires are my friends. I have knocked the black cape over me and have dressed up as a vampire to Halloween. everything i had was

this big black coat and then I have fixed my teeth. I love vampires.

*Probably, he's really one[vampire]. but well, if they look just like Kellan the ladies won't have any problems. You were at the Fashion Week here in Berlin. For Calvin Klein. What was it like?

K: I loved it. The models looked terrific and the clothes were excellent. The presentation was fantastic and the fans were also incredible. And then there was the soccer match of course which we also have enjoyed. This was really nice.

*Beautiful good morning. We have seen him as Emmet in the following. How does it feel to be sex symbol, Hollywoodstar and vampire in one?

K: Oh, thank you. I don't consider myself as one of these three. I like to play a vampire. I have grown up with that. it is somehow a child dream to have supernatural strengths anyway. I love my role. He[Emmet] loves this live, he lives into the day and this Hollywoodstar-thing, I don't know, I was so glad and I am so happy that this has worked with the acting for me because that's extremely difficult at the moment in LA. it is awesome to have work and be part of a thing, where one then has also so many fans and which is accepted so well. And ..well..Thank you.

*He is just modest but he doesn't have to be at all. This is an unbelievable action film. You have already said this is also a film for men. If one looks up the lathe works, the regisseur says: He's physically so fit. We throw him 7x into the water. Tell us which challenges you had to withstand.

K: This was already what. I love action movies which is Eclipse actually. We have made Twilight and then the 2nd part [New Moon] which was a little more for girls. A lot of romance. Eclipse is coming now. This is my favorite book from the trilogy. This is also more for the guys. If you've seen the trailer, you can see the action between the werewolves and the vampires already there. I don't want to betray too much but it's a fantastic film and David Slade is an excellent director who had us made quite many on our own. We had a lot of stunttraining and could shot the scenes. the most difficult was the water.

*I have seen the girl part [New Moon] and found it quite good. I have always wondered who gets Bella? Is there also a love scene with you to which we can look forward?

K: Ah, if I would be so lucky. Bella's role is fantastic and I support her very much.of course we can dance and fight also with grizzly bears. It's so much fun being a vampire. I really like to be one. the relation between Bella and me...yes, we squabble a bit and just have fun.. she simply plays this excellently.

*many colleagues of mine who like Kristen wanna know how is she private?

K: She's amazing. Really. She is so sweet and independent. You can't find this so easily LA, because LA tries to form people, wants make something else out of them. and Kristen is and she remains just herself. It's an honor to be allowed to work with somebody like her. I love her work. She is really a unique friend.

*I am curious what she'd say about you if she's here at one time. But I'm sure she already knows that you are a sex symbol. Among other things it is due to this [Calvin Klei campaign]. As a man, either you can say: 'I look just the same' or ' I never be like this'. as a woman you look anyway. You're a model and this[CK campaign] is for underwear. You also have taken part in the Fashion Week in Berlin. Of course this is connected to a hard training. What do you do to look so?

K: I swim a lot. I love to eat candy, because of this, on the other hand, I have to work out. I have a personal trainer. I eat quite much fast food late in the evening.. Of course I must let this remain. and simply leave out the whole sweet stuff. however, because I love sweet stuff my personal trainer has helped me very much to keep and to get fit.
