Robert Pattinson or Taylor Lautner? Brits biased towards their home boy!

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse releases in Britain today and fans are totally excited to witness the love triangle brewing between the vampire, wolf and the human. Eclipse has had a tremendous success in the US. The movie grossed nearly $70m in the opening weekend, which is quite good I must say.

The movie had its release, on almost all over the world on 30th June 2010. A few countries including Bulgaria, Estonia, India, Lithuania, and UK will be having the release today. The movie will have its release in Austria , Germany, Switzerland, and Japan on the 15th of July.

YouGov carried some polls to celebrate the Twilight release in UK and the most important one was to find out how many people are willing to see the movie. The result of the poll showed that 22 per cent of the Brits intended to see it and if the 18-24 year-old demographic is isolated, it jumps to a whopping 39 per cent.

Another big one was the poll in which people had to choose between Team Edward and Team Jacob, and like our heading says, people voted for their home boy Pattinson to make him the clear winner.
