Robert Pattinson: There is no rivalry with Taylor Lautner

Robert Pattinson insists there is no rivalry between him and 18-year-old Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner.

The actor, who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the series, says the tension between the two is on-screen only.

'I'm not at all competitive as a person,' says Robert, 24. 'And there is no rivalry with Taylor.'

Robert, 24, is hoping he'll have a stack of brilliant scripts to consider once the vampire franchise is completed.

'People might think that I might not want to do another teen story right away, but that's not it,' he tells Empire.

'As for my choices, it sounds a cliché, but they're purely motivated by the story.'
