Taylor Lautner is reportedly being lined up to star in the new X-Men movie. The 18-year-old actor is currently busy filming the final two movies in the Twilight film franchise, Breaking Dawn part one and part two. He plays muscular werewolf Jacob Black in the popular vampire drama and his toned physique has reportedly attracted the attention of executive at Twentieth Century Fox.
The studio is currently casting for the upcoming sequel X-Men: First Class and is said to have checked Taylor’s availability for the project. It is not known what role Taylor is being considering for, but actor Benjamin Walker, who was in negotiations to play Beast, reportedly pulled out of the film last month.
James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender have signed on to star in the comic book film, which will be directed by Michael Vaughn. X-Men: First Class is scheduled to be released in June 2011.
