Rio is a excit­ing place, thats why we decided that the city should be a part in the movie. We wanted this to be excit­ing because it’s Break­ing Dawn. We did a scene at Lapa with Edward [Pat­tin­son] and Bella [Kris­ten] to show the authen­tic side of the city.

Con­don said the order to the pro­duc­tion was to find less stereo­typed place for the shoot­ing. So that’s why there was the option of film at Lapa and at Saco de Maman­guá Isle, in Paraty, where the cast will go today.

The pro­ducer, Wyck God­frey revealed that the shoot­ing with the actors in Rio are already fin­ished. Ser­gio Sá Leitão, Rio Filmes pres­i­dent, added that Break­ing Dawn staff will be back to Rio to make ate­r­ial images of the city.
