Today is the last day for filming of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn in Brazil. But it has been a big day still in Paraty, to be sure.
According to Globo.com (who has photos from the set available, by the way), "Before exchanging kisses to the camera, [Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were] filmed playing chess. Despite the rain that hit the region on Friday, [they] wore costumes summer: he and she sailing in shorts."
(Chess? Definitely homage to the cover of Breaking Dawn. Still, one has to hope there'll be a nice "Edward" and "Alice" chess session somewhere later on . . .)
Per another source:
Producers rented the house for 22 days at the end of October, but Rob and Kristen are leaving the tropical paradise Nov. 13 by helicopter.
"It took the production crew 10 days to change the house to the way they wnted it [for the film] . . . Then they spent five days filming scenes and now they will spend the next five days changing the house back to the way it was before."
Sérgio Sá Leitão has also spoken to this issue, saying: "All right with the shooting of Dawn in Paraty! Tomorrow is the last day! Thank you all helped us in this endeavor! Viva Rio!"
Meanwhile, things are shaping up in Baton Rouge. Per Scene Today, "Some people have driven by OUTSIDE the studio and taken pictures, but now sheriffs have closed the streets around the studio. There's nothing to see from the outside of the studio anyway."
Ashley Greene commented that her portion of filming wouldn't begin until December, but filming is expected to pick back up next week in Louisiana.
