Twilight Breaking Dawn's Renesmee To Be Played By Four Actors

Massive Twilight Breaking Dawn gossip today, with a few hints as to how the producers are going to create the character of Renesmee!

Total spoiler alert ahead if you somehow haven't already read the fourth book.

Renesmee is the half vamp, half human daughter of Bella (Kristen Steward) and Edward (Robert Pattinson), and she ages much quicker than the average child.

Renesmee: NEW girls for the part!

- Eliza Faria: She’s listed as “Little Renesmee” on the Breaking Dawn IMDb’s page.

- Sierra Pitkin: She’s also rumored to be playing Renesmee. Sierra is well known for her role in “Juno”. Her age range is 8-10.

 

- Rachel St. Gelais: She’s a 6 year-old actress known for “The Blind Side” and “The Shunning”. Her mom/dad recently tweeted a picture of Rachel from Baton Rouge.

All these girls are between 5 and 10 years old, so we can expect more names to come for baby Renesmee and a teen version of Nessie.**

* There has been no official confirmation from Summit about Rachel, Eliza, Karolina or Sierra.

** The Teen version of Nessie should be used for a flash scene (Jacob’s vision in Breaking Dawn part I)

A 2nd rumored Renesmee!

According to edwardemmett09 from the lion_lamb LJ community,

I'm guessing they are using her size (Rachel's) and her body for a younger Renesmee, then superimposing/morphing Mackenzie Foy's face on her body, like they did with Armie Hammer so he was able to play both Winklevoss twins (they used the body of a Ralph Lauren model for the second twin, then Armie acted both parts and...you have twins) in The Social Network. I guess this where the experts like John Bruno come in.

Is this Renesmee ???

EW.com is reporting that 9-year old Mackenzie Foy 

has signed on to play Renesmee in "Breaking Dawn".

"Now EW.com has learned that little 9-year old Mackenzie Foy is inches away from signing on to play Renesmee, Edward and Bella’s vampire/human love child that’s a central role in the final installment of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

It’s not yet clear how the diminutive actress, who’s appeared in one episode each of television shows FlashForward and ‘Til Death, will portray the character who ages a full 17 years in only seven. Sources have suggested that director Bill Condon will employ similar digital effects to those used by David Fincher in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, where Foy’s face would be digitally transferred onto the face of a younger child. It’s also probable that the studio will hire a younger child in some capacity, too."

Listing Aspects We're Excited To See In Breaking Dawn

The past month has been chock-full of important dates for our favorite vampire family, the Cullens. First, was Edward and Bella's wedding anniversary on August 13. Our calendar is already marked for September 13 when we'll be sure to wish a very happy birthday to Bella, but today is all about her half-vampire, half-human daughter, Miss Renesmee Cullen, who turns four years old—sorta.

Since Stephenie Meyer never quite explained the mathematics behind Renesmee's rapid aging, we'll guess that she's somewhere between the mental and physical capacities of a 10 to 14-year-old by now (remember, she'll reach full maturity by 7 years old, but forever look 17). We'd feel bad offering her a birthday present she's too old for or can't use yet, so instead, we decided to gift her with four aspects of her character we're most excited to see in both installments of "Breaking Dawn"!

1. The birthing scene

Sorry, Nessie, but this is one we're dying to see. How will Bill Condon and Melissa Rosenberg make the birthing scene terrifying without making you seem like a monster? After all, you become one of the most beloved characters in the film by "Part 2." We're glad that's their challenge to deal with and not ours!
